To China:

General Guidelines for Import to China

a For non-diplomatic shipment, Import Permit is required BEFORE shipment 　　　　　　 arrival;

a For non-diplomatic shipment, furniture, major electrical/electronic 　　　　　　 appliances, food, alcohol are dutiable; （Duty Reference List is available 　　　　　　 upon request）

a Diplomatic shipment is duty-free;

a Fumigation Certificate is required for shipment coming from 　　　　　　 Canada/USA/some European countries (please check with us for details);

a Books/magazine/Video tapes/CDs/VCD/DVD are possibly inspected by 　　　　　　 customs, items inspected as being acceptable will be returned to consignee 　　　　　　 after inspection. However, items banned will be confiscated by customs;

a Prohibit Articles: Drugs, pornographic materials, arms, ammunition or any 　　　　　　 other items harmful to Chinese society & economy;

a Duration of c.c. & delivery after shipment arrival if paperwork is ready: 1-2 　　　　　　 days for air, 4 -6 days for FCL, 4 -9 days for LCL;

Required Documents for Import Permit

Non-Diplomat Shipment

· Original Residence Card

· Original Passport with ‘Z’ visa (working permit)

· Original Work Permit

· Client’s company customs registration series number

· Detailed Packing List

· Customs Declaration Form (we will fill it out according the packing list), 　　　　　　　 signed by client and stamped by client’s company chop

Diplomat Shipment

· Original Diplomatic Card

· Original OBL

· Shipment Arrival Notice

· Packing List

· Authorization Letter from Embassy

· Customs Declaration Form (singed by Embassy authorized personnel)

(** all above document need to be stamped by embassy chop)
